Dr. Saad Saad American Surgical Physician

Dr. Saad Saad a surgeon in Eaton New Jersey first received his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine and has since practiced medicine for over 20 years. Born in Palestine he was only one of his parents eight children. Among his siblings, there have been three surgeons, two PhDs and two masters of engineering. Dr. Saad Saad first emigrated to the united states over 40 years ago where he did his surgical residency in the pediatric ward of a US hospital. Over his career, Dr. Saad Saad has developed numerous pediatric procedures and has even patented two inventions in pediatric medicine. He is now retired but over the course of his life, he voluntarily performed eight mission surgeries to children in need in Jerusalem.

When looking back over his life Dr. Saad Saad realized that he first wanted to go into the medical field when he experienced the heat of Egyptian summers which instilled in him the desire for a career where he could work from in an air-conditioned environment.

Over his career, Dr. Saad Saad has received mentorship from numerous colleagues but one, in particular, stood out to him. Dr. H Biemann Othersen who taught DR. Saad Saad the importance of kindness, honesty and hard work when working with children. This was important to maintain no matter the history, ethnicity or race of the child.

Currently, the most exciting trend in medical science is the continuous discover of their influence of genetics on our ability to treat chronic illnesses.

Dr. Saad Saad believes that research is the lifeblood of innovation and is necessary for results to happen.

Being an organized individual is far more important than most people recognize. When a person is more organized they are more efficient and less likely to put off things that need to be done.

Dr. Saad Saad has a strong belief that only God is the one who knows what our fate is and that for young people it is not impossible to reach your goals as long as you insist on achieving them.

Dr. Saad Saad believes that an environment free from distractions both mental and physical is of incredible importance when it comes to performing top-notch surgeries.

Having come from a poor family Dr. Saad Saad felt it was his duty to excel in medical school and he was able to graduate with honors from his program.

He strongly believes that if a poor foreigner can become successful in this country that with enough drive and support anyone who has a strong desire for success can be in the United States of America.

American Institute Of Architects: A Powerful Voice Advocating For Architects

     American Institute of Architects is the premiere organization which represents licensed architects as well as other professionals involved industries of design and construction in the United States. When it was founded in 1857, there were no schools for architecture and no organized licensure process for architects. Anyone could claim to be an architect and the public didn’t hold architects in high regard. Through the work of the AIA, architects are now respected and often revered. The organization was started in New York with 13 members. Today the AIA has over 300 chapters and more than 90,000 members.

Initially, the goal of the AIA was to organize and improve the public image of the profession. Today the American Institute of Architects provides education, community redevelopment, government advocacy, support for the architecture profession, along with helping to coordinate the building industry. In 2010, the AIA named Robert Ivy FAIA as its CEO and executive vice president. He took office in February 2011. In the architectural profession Ivy is greatly recognized and a well-respected figure.

In 1996 he became Architectural Record’s editor-in-chief. During his time there the publication won many prestigious publishing industry awards and was among the world’s most widely read architecture publications. He was also McGraw-Hill Construction’s editorial director and vice president. Ivy was responsible for their family of design and construction publications’ editorial quality and managing the large editorial organization. In 2009, Robert Ivy received the Crane Award for his contributions to business media. It’s the top award given by American Business Media.

Robert Ivy has a B.A. in English he earned at The University of the South. He also graduated from Tulane University with a masters degree in architecture. He was an Ivy Architects principal and a Dean/Dale, Dean and Ivy managing partner for over 13 years. Alpha Rho Chi, the world-renowned 100 year old architectural fraternity, recognized Robert Ivy as Master Architect in 2010 for his work teaching a new generation about the value of design. Only 7 people have earned that designation in the fraternity’s history. In 1993, Ivy became an AIA College of Fellows member.

After serving as an advocate for architects around many important political, social and environmental issues and being a dedicated AIA Board of Directors member, Robert Ivy’s new role will see him managing the AIA national headquarter in Washington, DC, its 206 employees and $56 million annual budget and enhancing its effectiveness. Ivy will direct the focus of the organization to design and practice issues, strengthen the AIA’s voice on the value of design and improve the understanding of the public when it comes to issues related to architects and architecture.      Grupo Televisa, S.A. is the largest media company in the Spanish-speaking world. When he was younger, he used to live in New York City and worked for a private law firm. He felt that his home country needed a law firm as well, so he called out some of his colleagues and decided to establish their own law firm in Mexico. This law firm became successful, and is now regarded as one of the leading law firms in Mexico. He met Emilio Azcarraga Jean when he served as his personal attorney, and then he was offered to join Televisa. He was given the position as a chief financial officer, working hard to lead the company in a positive light. He gave his assistance in restructuring the company after the father of Emilio Azcarraga Jean died, and because of his help, the company soared high and outperform its predecessors, and it gave back the full control of the company back into Emilio Azcarraga Jean’s hands.

Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega was appointed as the executive vice president after the company’s restructure. During his term as the vice president, he made a deal with Univision, amounting to $1.2 billion. He worked hard for months just to have the deal signed, and because of it, Televisa was given the access to the coveted US Hispanic Market. Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega was credited for turning this enormous deal in to reality. Because of this partnership, the value of the company rose, and their profit has risen exponentially. Emilio Azcarraga Jean is grateful that he has someone like Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega working at his company. Aside from his executive vice presidential role, Alfonso de Angoitia Noriega also acts as a board member for Televisa, as well as with others companies like Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, Pepsi Bottling Group Mexico, Empresas Cablevision, Sky, and many more. He is also an active attendee of the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference, which is an annual even held in Idaho which features heavy weights from different fields and industries, including the business sector, politics, philanthropy and culture.
