Based in Columbus Ohio, Tammy Mazzocco is among the leading real estate agents. Apart from real estate; Tammy is also interested in issues surrounding health, sales, and entrepreneurship.
Her career as a realtor kicked off when she began working as a secretary with the commercial real estate company, The Edwards Realty Company. She worked alongside a team of nine commercial real estate agents under the leadership of the dynamic and renowned commercial realtor, Mike Zelnik.
She gained extensive experience in condominium management while working at Scotland Yard Condominiums. It is during this seven year period that she obtained her license as a real estate agent when the general manager of Scotland Yard and the owner/broker of Cook Realty, Ken Cook suggested it to her. Ken Cook was very resourceful during the early stages of Tammy Mazzocco’s career as a realtor. Besides teaching her about nearly all the ropes that dominate the industry, Ken Cook constantly encouraged Tammy to pursue greater heights.
When she left Scotland Yard Condominiums, Tammy joined T&R Properties to serve as the multi-site property manager of an office warehouse complex, and two apartment complexes. She would later (1998) become a licensed personal assistant for Joe Armeni, a top RE/MAX producer, in a Victorian Village in Columbus. While working with Joe, Tammy Mazzocco gained firsthand insights on how successful the real estate agent and developer had become, and this experience inspired her decision to pursue a full-time career in real estate from 1999 onwards. During the summer of 2000, Tammy moved yet again and started working with Judy Gang & Associates, Pickerington, Ohio. Today, Tammy Mazzocco extends her real estate agent services to Franklin, Delaware, Licking and Fairfield counties located in Central Ohio.
In an interview with Ideamensch, Tammy said that she starts her day with light stretching and meditation. Whenever she can, she prefers to handle the most important tasks first, before opening emails, responding and making calls. Just like everyone else, there are a couple of things that Tammy Mazzocco does not like to do such as prospecting or making cold calls. She time blocks these activities and forces herself to do them. In the beginning, it was pretty difficult for her, but with time, she began seeing positive results. As far as bringing ideas to life is concerned, Tammy engages brainstorming, conducting extensive research, and developing a business plan to determine the viability of the idea on the table.
